Maritime Unveils 2026 Schedule

2026 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY –
The Maritime College men's soccer team, which played in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament last season, is set for a 15-game slate in 2026.  The Privateers open with an exhibition contest at Manhattan on Sept. 2 before starting the regular season by hosting Nazareth on Sept. 6.  That matchup is the first of eight games scheduled for Reinhart Field.

Maritime's showdown with Manhattan will be the Privateers' first Division I exhibition tilt since 2023, when they took on VMI.  Four days later, Maritime officially begins the 2026 campaign against first-time foe Nazareth University out of Rochester.  Members of the Empire 8 Conference, the Golden Flyers are one of two first-time opponents on the schedule.

On Sept. 9, the Privateers visit NYU for their only non-conference road game of the season.  Maritime then wraps up its non-conference slate with home games against Hunter (Sept. 12) and Albertus Magnus (Sept. 16).  All three opponents are new additions to the schedule.  The Privateers last faced NYU in 2019 and haven't taken on Hunter since 2008.  Maritime will be facing Albertus Magnus for the first time.

Each of the Privateers' final 11 games are Skyline Conference contests.  Maritime opens conference play at St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Sept. 19 before back-to-back home games with Farmingdale (Sept. 22) and Manhattanville (Sept. 25).  The Privateers conclude September with a trip to Mount St. Mary on Sept. 29, then welcome Sarah Lawrence to Reinhart Field on Oct. 3.

After visiting Yeshiva on Oct. 6, Maritime returns home for a matchup with Old Westbury on Oct. 9.  The Privateers then have a week off heading into a showdown at Merchant Marine on Oct. 16.  Maritime wraps up its home slate against Purchase on Oct. 20 before ending the regular season on the road against both participants in the 2025 Skyline Championship Game.  The Privateers travel to regular season champion Mount St. Vincent on Oct. 24 and visit defending Skyline champion St. Joseph's LI on Oct. 28.

This season's Skyline Tournament gets underway with first-round contests on Oct. 31.  Maritime, which just missed out on a playoff berth last year, is looking to make its first Skyline Tournament appearance since winning the title in 2019.
