The Maritime Sports Information staff is happy to assist the media in their coverage of Privateer Athletics.

Interviews
No pre-game interviews will be granted on game day. Interviews of student-athletes or coaches outside of the postgame press conference should be arranged through the Sports Information Office. Please do not conduct post-game interviews on the field without prior consent or without a representative of the Sports Information Office present.

Photo Requests
The Sports Information Staff can provide high-resolution head shots for all coaches and student-athletes upon request. In most cases, hi-res action photos of student-athletes can also be provided. Please include the required dimensions and orientation (horizontal or vertical) of the photo when making your request.

E-Mail
Releases, game notes, advisories, etc., are e-mailed to media that cover Maritime on a regular basis. Media wishing to be added to the e-mail list for a particular sport should contact the Sports Information Staff.

Media and Photo Credentials
Credentials are required for any member of the media wishing to cover Maritime teams. Likewise, credentials are required for any member of the media wishing to photograph, video tape, or capture footage of Maritime teams through any other form of electronic or digital media (collectively, such credentials are hereinafter referred to as "Credentials"). Credentials are issued to working members of the media by the Sports Information Office for the sole purpose of providing facility access to an agency'. Credentials are nontransferable.

Please contact the office at least 24 hours in advance to request credentials. All Credentials will be available at the press box/press row for that venue.

Credentials are issued at the discretion of the Sports Information Office and may be revoked at any time. Media wishing to cover Maritime teams on the road must contact the host sports information office for Credentials.

Pursuant to NCAA regulations and this Policy, the field level and/or "sideline" area is strictly reserved for players, coaches, and for those who are performing a service associated with action on the field of play and for administration of the game. Pursuant to NCAA regulations and this Policy, members of the general public are not permitted at field level or on the playing field at any time. The Colleges reserve the right to remove from the sideline or field level any individuals not possessing a valid credential.

For the safety of student-athletes and credentialed personnel, credentialed personnel are required to keep a 12-foot buffer between themselves and the sideline at all times.

Sideline passes DO NOT grant access to team bench areas. To switch ends of the field, sideline credentialed personnel are required to walk around the team area; sideline credentialed personnel are not permitted to walk through a team area. Violation of this policy can result in game management staff issuing a warning, revoking sideline credentials, and/or ejecting violators from the venue.
