Privateers Reveal 16-Game Slate for 2025

2025 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY – Dan Cinelli's
first game as head coach of the Maritime College men's soccer program will be on Aug. 29, when the Privateers welcome Brooklyn to Reinhart Field.  Overall, the Privateers will play 10 of their 16 contests at home, including seven of their first eight, in 2025.

The season opener is one of four doubleheaders with the women's team.  As a part of the Skyline Conference's new scheduling format, all Saturday conference games this season will be doubleheaders against the same opponent.  The Privateer men and women will host Mount St. Vincent on Sept. 20, Merchant Marine on Sept. 27 and St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Oct. 25.  Maritime also has two midweek home games against Yeshiva (Sept. 17) and Mount St. Mary (Oct. 22) during Skyline play.

After the season-opening matchup with Brooklyn, the Privateers face Five Towns on Sept. 2 before playing their first road game of the year at York on Sept. 10.  Maritime begins a five-game homestand two days later against Centenary, then starts its Skyline slate against Yeshiva on Sept. 17.  Each of the Privateers' first four conference contests are at Reinhart Field.

On Sept. 30, Maritime visits Purchase to open a span where it plays four out of five on the road.  The Privateers travel to Old Westbury on Oct. 4 before returning home for the non-conference finale against Medgar Evers on Oct. 6.  Maritime is then back on the road for Skyline matchups with Sarah Lawrence (Oct. 11) and Manhattanville (Oct. 18).  After wrapping up their home schedule against Mount St. Mary (Oct. 22) and St. Joseph's Brooklyn (Oct. 25), the Privateers conclude the regular season at Farmingdale on Oct. 29.

Six teams qualify for the Skyline Tournament, which gets underway on Nov. 1 with first-round matchups hosted by the No. 3 and 4 seeds.  The semifinals are set for Nov. 5, with the Championship Game on Nov. 8.  Maritime just missed out on the Skyline Tournament last season after going unbeaten at home and finishing 7-5-5 overall.
