Seven Home Contests Highlight 2026 Schedule

2026 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY –
The Maritime College women's lacrosse team will play six of its first seven games at home in 2026, starting with a season-opening matchup against Drew on Feb. 27.  Overall, the Privateers have seven contests set for Reinhart Field during the regular season.

After facing Drew for the first time in program history, Maritime faces another first-time opponent when Delaware Valley visits Fort Schuyler on March 7.  The Privateers then hit the road for a meeting with FDU-Florham on March 14 before beginning Skyline Conference play against St. Joseph's LI on March 24.  That contest is the start of a four-game homestand.  Maritime also takes on Skyline foes Manhattanville (March 27) and Purchase (April 1), then concludes the string with a non-conference tilt against Ramapo on April 3.

Each of the Privateers' final five games are Skyline contests, starting with a matchup at Old Westbury on April 7.  After visiting Farmingdale, the team that knocked it out of last season's Skyline Tournament in the semifinals, on April 10, Maritime returns home on April 15 to square off with Mount St. Vincent.  It will be the Privateers' final home game of the season.

Maritime ends the regular season with back-to-back road contests.  On April 18, the Privateers travel to Kings Point for a meeting with defending Skyline champion Merchant Marine.  Maritime then wraps up the campaign at Mount St. Mary on April 21.  The Privateers finish the season on the road for the fourth straight year.

This season, the Skyline Tournament has a new format, with the first-round games hosted by the No. 3 & 4 seeds scheduled for Saturday, April 25.  The semifinals are set for April 29 on the home fields of the top two seeds, while the highest remaining seed hosts the Skyline Championship Game on Saturday, May 2.  Maritime has reached at least the semifinals every year since 2022.
