All-ECAC Team

THROGGS NECK, NY – Gabrielle Nicolosi
(West Islip, NY) of the Maritime College women's lacrosse team has been selected as the 2025 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Offensive Player of the Year.  She was also named to the All-ECAC Team for the second consecutive season.

Nicolosi becomes the first player in program history to receive an ECAC major award, and the honor adds to her list of accolades for her incredible 2025 campaign.  She was a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Second Team All-Region choice, as well as the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

In 2025, Nicolosi set single-season program records with 61 goals, 64 assists and 125 points.  She's also the Privateers' all-time leader in all three categories.  Nicolosi is currently among the national leaders in points (fifth) and assists (seventh), and her school-record 15 points at Ramapo on March 1 are tied for the most in a game across all of NCAA women's lacrosse this season.  That performance, which earned her IWLCA National Offensive Player of the Week honors, was one of six games this year in which she tallied double-digit points.

A four-time All-Skyline selection (including three First Team nods), Nicolosi scored at least one goal in all 61 games during her Maritime career.  The Privateers won a Skyline Tournament game and reached at least the semifinals every season, including two trips to the Skyline Championship Game.  This year, Maritime posted a 10-7 record.

The ECAC is an 85-year-old organization with more than 200 members across all three NCAA Divisions.  In order to be eligible for the All-ECAC Team, student-athletes must be a first team all-conference selection or major award winner in their primary conference.  Nicolosi is the Privateers' first-ever two-time All-ECAC honoree in women's lacrosse.
