2023 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College women's lacrosse team will play 15 games in 2023, including seven home contests at Reinhart Field.  The Privateers begin the season with a matchup at Notre Dame (Maryland) on March 2.

After opening on the road, Maritime starts a three-game non-conference homestand against Southern Virginia on March 8.  The Privateers also take on SUNY Morrisville (March 11) and Albertus Magnus (March 14) before visiting DeSales on March 17.  Maritime concludes the road swing against Ramapo (March 22) and Coast Guard (March 29).

On March 31, the Privateers get their Skyline Conference campaign underway by hosting Mount St. Mary.  Maritime will alternate home and away games throughout conference play.

Following a matchup at Manhattanville on April 4, the Privateers welcome Farmingdale to Reinhart Field on April 7.  Last season, the Rams snapped Maritime's program-record 10-game winning streak before defeating the Privateers again in the Skyline semifinals.  Both of those games were played at Farmingdale.  The Rams haven't visited Throggs Neck since 2019.

Maritime travels to Purchase on April 12 before hosting defending Skyline champion Merchant Marine on April 18.  Four days later, the Privateers visit Mount St. Vincent in the back end of a doubleheader that will also include the Maritime men taking on the Dolphins.  The Privateers conclude their home schedule against Old Westbury on April 26, then wrap up the regular season at St. Joseph's LI on April 29.

This season's Skyline Tournament begins with first-round games hosted by the No. 3 and 4 seeds on May 2.  Last year, Maritime was the No. 3 seed and hosted a Skyline Tournament contest for the first time in school history.  The No. 1 and 2 seeds will receive a first-round bye and host the semifinals on May 4, while the championship game is scheduled for May 6 at the highest remaining seed.
