THROGGS NECK, NY – Four members of the Maritime College baseball team have been selected All-Skyline by the conference's 11 head coaches.  Catcher Michael Frazzetta (Howard Beach, NY), second baseman Owen Weber (Kings Park, NY) and relief pitcher Jack Kellner (Seaford, NY) were all named First Team All-Skyline, while starting pitcher Matt Demme (Carmel, NY) earned a Second Team All-Skyline nod.

Frazzetta was chosen to the All-Skyline Team for the first time in his career.  He's reached base safely in 32 of the Privateers' 39 contests this season while starting every game at either catcher or designated hitter.  Frazzetta has a .317 batting average and leads Maritime with a .469 on-base percentage.  He's also belted four home runs and collected 31 RBIs, both of which are second-most on the squad.

Weber ranks second in the conference with seven home runs and fifth with 54 hits.  He tied a school record with three home runs in a game against Manhattanville on April 5, winning Skyline Player of the Week honors as well as being named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for that effort.  Weber has started all 39 games and leads the Privateers in RBIs (35) and runs scored (41) while boasting a .346 batting average.  This is his first career All-Skyline selection.

Kellner becomes the third Maritime student-athlete to earn all-conference honors in two different sports during the 2024-25 school year.  He was named Second Team All-NEWMAC as a linebacker for the football team in the Fall.  This is Kellner's second career All-Skyline selection in baseball.  He was a Second Team choice in 2023.  This season, Kellner has posted a 2-0 record and recorded one save in 11 appearances out of the bullpen.  He has compiled a 2.42 ERA and struck out 17 opposing hitters in 22.1 innings.

Demme also snagged his second career All-Skyline nod.  He was named to the First Team in 2023.  Demme's five wins this season are one off the league lead, and his 51 strikeouts rank seventh in the conference.  He earned Skyline Pitcher of the Week honors on April 23 after tossing a three-hit shutout at St. Joseph's Brooklyn.

The Privateers (22-17, 13-7 Skyline) qualified for their 13^th straight Skyline Tournament after finishing fifth in the final regular season standings.  Maritime visits fourth-seeded Mount St. Mary (20-16-1, 13-6 Skyline, a team that it split a doubleheader with on Saturday, in the single-elimination first round at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
