All-Region Teams: ABCA/Rawlings | D3baseball.com

THROGGS NECK, NY – Second baseman Owen Weber (Kings Park, NY) of the Maritime College baseball team has been named All-Region by two different organizations.  He was selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Region Second Team while also earning a Third Team All-Region nod from D3baseball.com.

A First Team All-Skyline honoree in 2025, Weber tied for second in the league with seven home runs.  He also paced the Privateers with 53 hits and 35 RBIs while putting together a .338 batting average.  On April 5, he equaled single-game program records by going deep three times and collecting seven RBIs in a win over Manhattanville.  Maritime's leadoff hitter for most of the season, Weber was one of four players to start all 40 contests.

These are his first career All-Region nods, and he extends the Privateers' streak of boasting at least one All-Region selection to five consecutive seasons.  Maritime has had a player honored by both organizations every year since 2022.

The ABCA, which was founded in 1945, recognizes a First, Second and Third Team in 10 different regions.  The teams are selected by a vote of the ABCA member coaches.

D3baseball.com, meanwhile, is in its 13^th year of honoring an All-Region Team for each of its 10 regions.  Players are nominated by their school's Sports Information Director before the D3baseball.com staff and contributors choosing the All-Region squads.
