Harry Leipold (Thornwood, NJ) has been chosen as the Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week. He tallied eight RBIs and scored six runs in the two games.
Leipold finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBIs in the first game, a 14-4 Privateers win. He roped an RBI single in the first inning before adding an RBI double in the second. Leipold then drove in Maritime's final two runs on his second double of the contest in the fourth.
In Game 2, he came to the plate seven times and got on base in six of them while hitting a sacrifice fly in the other. Leipold smacked a two-run triple in the first, as the Privateers jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the eventual 18-7 victory. He later added an RBI single in the sixth, then, after reaching in each of his first six plate appearances, picked up another RBI with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly. Leipold ended up 3-for-3 with three walks, four RBIs, four runs scored and a stolen base.
This is his first career Skyline weekly honor and the third for a Maritime player this season.

The Privateers (9-9) conclude a span of eight straight games away from home on Tuesday, when they visit Eastern Connecticut (12-5) at 5 p.m. The Warriors received votes in this week's D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll.
