Privateers Set For 38-Game Slate In 2026

2026 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY –
The Maritime College baseball team has released its 2026 schedule.  The Privateers will play 38 games during the regular season, 17 of which are set for Reinhart Baseball Field.  Maritime also has 16 road contests, as well as five games at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

After opening the campaign at Montclair State on Feb. 25, the Privateers begin their home slate with a doubleheader against Union on Feb. 28.  Maritime hosts New Paltz the next day before heading to Florida.  The Privateers will take on St. John Fisher (March 4), Keystone (March 5) and RIT (March 6), then end the trip with a twinbill against Rochester on March 7.

Maritime visits Ramapo on March 10 and plays a doubleheader at Baruch on March 14.  The Privateers return home on March 15 for a twinbill against Plattsburgh.  That doubleheader will start a season-long string of nine straight contests at Reinhart Baseball Field for Maritime.  After hosting John Jay for a Tuesday night contest on March 17, the Privateers begin Skyline Conference play against Mount St. Vincent on March 21.  The Dolphins will be considered the "home" team, even though the twinbill is set for Maritime's home field.  The homestand concludes with conference doubleheaders against St. Joseph's Brooklyn (March 28) and Old Westbury (March 29).

On April 2, the Privateers head to Mount St. Mary for the first time since last year's Skyline Tournament.  Maritime then visits Misericordia for a non-conference showdown on April 7 before resuming Skyline play at Manhattanville on April 11.  The Privateers welcome Merchant Marine to Reinhart Baseball Field on April 12 and travel to FDU-Florham on April 14.  After more than a week off, Maritime concludes its non-conference schedule by hosting CCNY on April 22.

Each of the Privateers' final eight games are Skyline contests, starting with a twinbill at defending conference champion Farmingdale on April 25.  Maritime hosts St. Joseph's LI on April 26 before wrapping up its road schedule against Yeshiva on May 1.  The Privateers then conclude the regular season with a home doubleheader against Purchase on May 2.

This year's Skyline Tournament begins with single-elimination games hosted by the No. 3 and 4 seeds on May 6.  The double-elimination portion of the event is set for May 8-10 at the home field of the No. 1 seed.  Maritime has qualified for the last 13 Skyline Tournaments.
