2024 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College cross country team will participate in six meets during the 2024 season.  The Privateers will travel to Pennsylvania four times—twice in September and twice in October—before the Skyline Conference and ECAC Championships in November.

Maritime begins the campaign on Sept. 14 at the Misericordia Cougar Classic.  The following weekend, the Privateers will take part in the Penn State Abington Invitational for the fourth consecutive year.  After not participating in 2022, Maritime returns to the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University, on Oct. 5.  The Privateers wrap up the regular season at Jefferson University's Jack St. Clair Memorial Invitational on Oct. 12.

This season's Skyline Conference Championships are scheduled for Nov. 3 at a new location—Bethpage State Park.  Last year, the Maritime women made history by winning their first-ever Skyline title, while the men's squad finished in fourth place.  On Nov. 9, the Privateers conclude the season at the ECAC Championships, which will be held at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY.

In this year's Skyline Preseason Poll, the Maritime women were picked to repeat as conference champions.  The Privateers placed third in the men's poll.
