THROGGS NECK, NY – Three members of the Maritime College women's lacrosse team have been named to the 2024 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll.  Avery Jillson Neuwirth (Croton-on-Hudson, NY) and Kathryn Sandford (Floral Park, NY) were both recognized for the second straight year, while Morgan Tracy (Cambridge, MD) earned her first Academic Honor Roll selection. 

All three Privateers were All-Skyline Conference performers this season, as Maritime reached its second straight Skyline Championship Game.  Jillson Neuwirth, a marine transportation major, and Sandford, who received her degree in marine environmental science, were First Team All-Skyline selections.  Meanwhile, Tracy, a marine transportation major, was a Second Team All-Skyline choice in 2024.

To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.  This year's 1,125 honorees represent 201 different institutions.
