The Maritime Athletic Department is proud to unveil a brand new turf baseball field ahead of the 2021 season. In addition to the grass field being converted to turf, new bullpens, batting cages, and fencing was installed around the outside of the field.

"This project was multiple years in the making and it took a lot of hard work from many people across the Maritime campus to make it happen," said Interim Athletic Director Mike Berkun. "We would like to thank Rear Admiral Michael A. Alfultis, Scott Dieterich, Joe Tedesco, Billy Ruegger and the whole facilities staff as well as countless others for making this beautiful field happen."

"Everybody is pumped to be playing on the new field," said head coach Charlie Barbieri. "Even after the first couple days of practice it didn't feel like it was our field and it took a little bit to just get over the excitement of just being on it. It's a phenomenal field and we're super excited and thankful to be able to practice and play on it."
