THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The Maritime baseball team, which was scheduled to play on the road this Saturday at Staten Island, will now be playing at 12 p.m. on Friday, April 6 with the games now taking place at Reinhart Field on the Maritime College campus. The Privateers will serve as the home team in the non-conference doubleheader.
 
The Privateers currently sit at 12-7 on the season, with an 8-5 record in non-conference games heading into Friday's doubleheader. Last season the Privateers split with the Dolphins, as the games took place at Baseball Heaven on Long Island in mid-March.
 
Friday's doubleheader will now extend Maritime's homestand to 15 games, with Maritime already 5-3 on the homestead.
