ROTTERDAM, N.Y. - The first-ever matchup of two SUNY rifle programs took place on Saturday at a neutral range in Albany, N.Y.

Maritime took on the newest member of the MAC Rifle league, Plattsburgh in smallbore and air rifle and came away with a pair of victories.  Plattsburgh Coach Pete Visconti, a fellow St. John's rifle team alum with Maritime's Tom White, brought his new team in and put up some impressive scores for their first shoulder-to-shoulder league match.

Maritime's next match will be at US Coast Guard Academy where they will compete against Coast Guard, John Jay and Penn State.
