THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – This Saturday, the Maritime football team will play its final home game of the 2016 season as the team welcomes the Norwich Cadets to Reinhart Field for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.

Head-to-Head:
Series History: The Privateers and Cadets have met nine times in their history with Norwich winning seven of the nine, including the last four matchups. Last season in Northfield, Vermont, the Cadets defeated the Privateers by a 30-22 score.

Maritime Last Game Recap: Maritime will take on its second-straight opponent from the Green Mountain State this week after falling to Castleton a week ago by the score of 32-31. In the game, Maritime passed for at least two touchdowns and also rushed for two scores, in its third-highest offensive output of the season.

Norwich Last Game Recap: Norwich enters off of three wins in a row with all three coming against ECFC opponents. Last week, the Cadets knocked off the Gallaudet Bison by a 27-6 score. In the game, Norwich picked up 16 first downs, with 13 coming on the ground and none through the air, the team completed just three passes for 17 yards.

Senior Day: Prior to the start of the game on Saturday, the Maritime football team will be recognizing the 15 seniors that will be playing in their final game on Reinhart Field.

2016 Senior Class:
Coin Flip: While the 15 members of the senior class will soon be alumni of the program, another Privateer football alum will be on hand for the coin flip prior to the game.
Joe Guerra '13 returns to Reinhart Field, and was invited back following his generous donation to the Maritime Alumni Locker Room Renovation Project.

Chili Cookoff: Saturday will also be the annual chili cookoff at Reinhart Field, fans will be able to test several assortments of chili and vote for their favorite. The winner will be announced at halftime.
