Biography

At Maritime:
2016: Senior Season- 800# Club member in the offseason lifting program.

2015: Junior Season – First Team All-ECFC Punter. John was named the Special Teams Player of the Game against Becker.

2014: Sophomore Season -  John started all 10 games at punter, getting 55 kicks for an average of 35 yards and dropping nine inside the opponents 20-yard line. He was awarded the Special Teams Player of the Week against Mount Ida.

2013: Freshman Season – Named the ECFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 23 after a strong punting performance against Merchant Marine. He averaged 35.9 yards per punt during the 2013 season. John earned the team’s Special Teams Player of the Week Honors for weeks 3 and 9. 

Academics: John is majoring in Marine Engineering with a USCG Engine License. He earned Academic Dean’s List for Spring 2015.

Prior to Maritime: John played under Coach Mistrella at Metuchen High School where he was a big part of Metuchen’s kicking game and played linebacker. John also played baseball.
