INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be only the second meeting between the two schools, as the Panthers just started their women's lacrosse program last season. In last year's game, the Privateers came out victorious, 10-8, at Reinhart Field on April 20.

In that game, the 2013 season finale, freshman Jackie Golematis (Douglaston, N.Y./St. Francis Prep.) picked up four points with three goals and an assist, while then-sophomore Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, Del./West Broward (Fla.)) and then-freshman Leanne Lavelle (New Windsor, N.Y./Washingtonville) both scored twice. Three other players found the back of the net for the Privateers. Senior Victoria DeLouise (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side ) led the team with six groundballs and seven caused turnovers. In goal, then-freshman Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) made five saves for the victory.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Old Westbury has an overall record of 3-12 and, like Maritime, is 1-5 in Skyline Conference play under second-year head coach Lauren Schneider. The Panthers are currently on a three-game losing streak and are 2-5 in their last seven games.

Freshman Sara Bey is the team-leader with 33 points on 32 goals and one assist, while two players are tied for second on the squad with 27 points – sophomore Courtney Gallagher (25G, 2A) and freshman Maria Dischley (21G, 6A). Dischley has also scooped up a team-high 52 groundballs and has also caused a team-best 35 turnovers, while tying the top spot with 48 draw controls.

Senior goalie Jackie Cartagena has played every minute between the pipes for OW and has a 13.60 goals against average with a .382 save percentage in 15 games. She has made 8.4 saves per game.
