        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 11, 2014) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team will play its final home game of the 2013 season on Saturday against Skyline opponent Purchase College. Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Reinhart Field. Before the game begins, the Privateers will pay tribute to lone senior Theresa D'Amore (Blooming Grove, N.Y./Washingtonville) with a special Senior Day ceremony.

INSIDE THE SERIES
        Last year was the first meeting between the two schools, as it was also Purchase's first season of the women's lacrosse program. The Privateers won that matchup, 8-6, up in Purchase.
 
        Freshman Jackie Golematis (Douglaston, N.Y./St. Francis Prep.) recorded a game-high four points on three goals and one assist, while then-sophomore Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, Del./West Broward (Fla.)) scored three goals and had one helper. In goal, then-freshman Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) made nine saves for the victory.
 
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
        Purchase enters Saturday's action with a 5-3 overall record and is 2-3 in Skyline Conference play under first year head coach Francesca DeLorenzo. Sophomore Samantha Rich leads the Panthers with 18 points on 17 goals and one assist, while also picking up a team-high 22 draw controls. Junior Nathalie Lavelanet has picked up 18 groundballs to lead the squad, while also recording a team-best 19 caused turnovers.
 
        Senior goalie Jess Lindsay has registered a 9.12 goals against average with a .597 saves percentage while making 13.5 saves per game.
