QUINN RANKED AMONG NATIONAL LEADERS, INCLUDING FIRST IN CAUSED TURNOVERS Maritime freshman midfielder
Jane Quinn (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot), who was named to the Skyline WLAX weekly honor roll this past Monday and earned Skyline Rookie of the Week honors last week, has been enjoying quite a successful start to her rookie campaign. Quinn is currently the national leader among all NCAA DIII women's lacrosse players in caused turnovers with 5.75 per game and is tied for third in the country with 7.25 groundballs per game. Also ranked nationally is sophomore
Leanne Lavelle (New Windsor, N.Y./Washingtonville), whose 3.60 CTs per game is good for eighth, while her 5.80 GBs per game ranks 10th.

Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) ranks 29th in Division III with 11.00 saves per game. As a team, the Privateers are 29th in the country in caused turnovers (11.60 per game) and 40th in groundballs (23.80 per game).

INSIDE THE SERIES Maritime and Saint Elizabeth have met only once before and that was the 2010 season-opener for the Privateers back on March 6, 2010, at Reinhart Field. Maritime won the home game by the score of 20-2.
SCOUTING THE SCREAMING EAGLES The College of Saint Elizabeth enters Wednesday's action with a 0-1 record under first-year head coach Aileen Musynske. The Screaming Eagles opened the 2014 season with a 9-6 loss this past Saturday, March 22, at Rosemont College. Last year, the squad finished with a 6-8 overall record, including a 2-7 mark in NEAC action.
Senior midfielder Kelly O'Dell leads the Screaming Eagles with three goals, while classmate Nicole Rios has two scores. Seniors Christina Rios and Cheyenne Grant are both tied for the team-lead with four groundballs apiece.
