        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 21, 2014) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team will play host to Skyline Conference opponent Mount St. Vincent on Saturday afternoon, March 22, in the league opener for both squads. Action is set to get underway at Reinhart Field at 1 p.m.

INSIDE THE SERIES
        The Privateers have faced Mount St. Vincent seven times and have yet to win against the Dolphins. Last year, the teams met on April 17 at Reinhart Field in what was actually a home game for CMSV. The Mount won by the score of 14-2.
 
SCOUTING THE DOLPHINS
        Mount St. Vincent enters Saturday's action with a 1-2 overall record. The Dolphins lost their first two games of the season to Stevens on the road, 19-1, on Feb. 24 and at home against Roger Williams, 16-2, on March 10. They rebounded to win against Thomas College, 16-12, at home on March 13.
 
        Three Dolphin players are tied for the team-lead with six points, junior Melina Mezzanotte has six goals, freshman Shannon Steimel has five goals and one assist, and junior Kelly Fraser has three goals and three assists. Freshman Jessica McAllister leads the squad with ten draw controls and nine groundballs, while senior Colleen Walsh has a team-best six caused turnovers.
