INSIDE THE SERIES The Privateers have only played the Lady Colonels once before and that was last season on April 8, 2013 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. It was Wilkes that came out on top by the score of 19-7. In that game, sophomore

Leanne Lavelle (New Windsor, N.Y./Washingtonville) both recorded two goals and an assist. For the Colonels, then-junior Gabby Ford led all players with five goals and then-freshmen Madeleine Brownsey and Tori Kerr both scored four goals. In goal, then-freshman
Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) made five saves, while Wilkes' Brittaney Costigan made seven saves in the victory.
SCOUTING THE LADY COLONELS Wilkes comes into Wednesday's action with a 5-0 overall record under eighth-year head coach Kammie Towey, picking up wins over Lycoming, Houghton, Rutgers-Camden, SUNY Canton and Wells.
Through the five games, junior Carley Smith has led the way with 36 points on 18 goals and 18 assists. Sophomore Tori Kerr (23G, 4A) and senior Gabby Ford (18G, 9A) are tied for second on the squad with 27 points.
Sophomore defender Jessica MacConchie leads the Colonels with 26 groundballs while Ford is second with 19. Ford and Smith are tied for the team-lead in draw controls with 23 apiece as well as caused turnovers with 10 apiece.
Freshman goalie Morgan Galluzzo has earned every decision thus far in 2014 and boasts a 7.54 goals against average to go along with a .413 save percentage.
