THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 11, 2014) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team will hit the road for the first time this season with a mid-week contest in Galloway, N.J., against Richard Stockton College. Action is set to get underway at 4 p.m. at the Ospreys' Multipurpose Athletic Field.

INSIDE THE SERIES
This is the first season that women's lacrosse is offered at Stockton, so Wednesday's meeting will be the first ever between the Privateers and Ospreys.
SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
Under first-year head coach Kim Williams, the Richard Stockton women's lacrosse squad sits at 2-1 on the season. The Ospreys opened their first campaign in program history with two straight victories – a 16-4 win over Notre Dame of Maryland on March 1 and a 13-0 victory over Lancaster Bible on March 4 – but lost their last game, 14-5, to Albright College on March 8.
Junior Zoey Kramer leads the offense with 11 points (10G, 1A), while senior Carlie Flake has six goals and two assists for eight points. Sophomore Ciarra Stroud has a team-best 14 draw controls and senior Jenny Carpenter and junior Nicole Miller are tied for the lead with seven groundballs. In goal, freshman Rianna Martorano has started all three games thus far and is 2-1 with a 7.39 goals against average with two saves.
