THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Feb. 22, 2014) – The Maritime men's basketball team will conclude the 2013-14 season on Saturday night against Skyline Conference opponent Yeshiva University. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the Maccabee's Max Stern Athletic Center.
The End Of An Era For Yeshiva
Saturday night's game will be Yeshiva head coach
Dr. Jonathan Halpert's last on the Maccabees' sidelines. He will be stepping aside after 42 years of leading the Macs. Halpert took over the Yeshiva University roster in 1972 and is the longest serving men's basketball coach in New York City history. The Maritime men's basketball program congratulates Dr. Halpert on a great coaching career and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
