This year the Privateers defeated the Blue Jays in a come-from-behind win by the score of 10-9.

Maritime found themselves down 8-5 by the fourth inning in tonight's game but kept chipping away making the score 8-6 in the fifth on sophomore Matthew Sollin (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side)'s (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) triple, 8-7 in the seventh on sophomore Patrick Kirk's (Brooklyn, N.Y. / St. Edmund Prep) single, and then eventually tying it up at nine in the top of the ninth on an error by freshman center fielder Matt Larosa that helped score freshman Bryan Colasaco (Bay Shore, N.Y./Chaminade) to send it into extras.

In the tenth, sophomore Albert Doerbecker (Point Lookout, N.Y./Long Beach) (Point Lookout, N.Y./Long Beach) singled to score senior Ed Martinez (Yonkers, N.Y./Stepinac) (Yonkers, N.Y./Stepinac) as the go-ahead run to make it 10-9.
