Women’s Lacrosse Loses At Montclair St. Tuesday Afternoon

        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 2, 2013) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team dropped its Skyline Conference contest at Montclair St. Tuesday afternoon by the score of 16-1. The Privateers fall to 2-7 (1-5 Skyline) on the season, while the Red Hawks improve to 9-1 (5-0 Skyline).
 
        Freshman Jackie Golematis (Douglaston, N.Y./St. Francis Prep.) (Douglaston, N.Y./St. Francis Prep.) scored Maritime's only goal in the game and it came on a free position shot late in the first half with MSU ahead 13-0. In goal, freshman Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) made four saves. Sophomore Charlotte Acklin (Lewes, Del./West Broward (Fla.)) (Lewes, Del./West Broward) recorded a team-high four groundballs and three caused turnovers.
 
        The Privateers return to action on Saturday, April 6, when they will play host to Ramapo College at Reinhart Field. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
