        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 2, 2013) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team returns to action after a long weekend off to take on Skyline-opponent Montclair State. The Privateers are currently 2-6, 1-4 Skyline and will travel Tuesday to face the Red Hawks, who are 8-1, 4-0 Skyline. First draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Sprague Field.
 
Inside The Series With Montclair State
        The matchup started in 2008, when the Privateers lost at home to the Red Hawks. They have met each year since and Montclair State leads the series, 5-0.
 
Last Time The Two Teams Met
        The Privateers fell to the Red Hawks in the last game of the 2012 season by the score of 18-3. Maritime was led by freshman Tessa Jardine (Valley Stream, N.Y./Waterford) with two goals and senior Kristen Saporito (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) added one more. Saporito along with sophomore Megan White (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) and senior goalie Laura Palino (North Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) each registered a team high of two groundballs. Palino had five saves on the day.
 
        For Montclair St., Kailee Beal led all players with four goals and three assists, while Tierney Conlon had two goals and five assists. Goalie Tiffani Henderson made two saves for the victory.
