THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 13, 2013) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team lost at home in a conference match up against Kean on Saturday afternoon with a final score of 19-4. The Privateers fall to 2-10 and 1-7 Skyline while the Cougars advance to 10-4 and 6-3 Skyline.

Kean had three players score hat tricks on the day, senior Stephanie Tocko, sophomore Maggie Brocklebank and freshman Samantha Gnapp. Junior Ciara Mastrodomenico had a game high of four groundballs. Senior Lyndsey Cannon lead both squads with two assists while Tocko, Knapp and Mastrodomenico each contributed one more. In goal Sophomore Alyssa Staffin made five saves to secure the win.
The Privateers suit up again when they travel to Mount St. Vincent on Wednesday April 17.
