        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 14, 2013) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team (0-2) will play host to fellow industry-rival school the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (0-2) for the newly named “Sound Shootout” on Thursday night at Reinhart Field. The opening draw is scheduled for 7 p.m.

        The Maritime women's lacrosse program is encouraging fans to wear white to tonight's game tonight against KP in solidarity with the home team. We are hoping to create “White-Out Conditions” at Reinhart Field!
 
Inside The Sound Shootout Series With Kings Point
        This season marks the birth of the women's lacrosse program for Kings Point, making this the very first Sound Shootout. The meeting between the Privateers and Mariners will be the first of many as they create a new tradition.
