        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 1, 2013) – The Privateer baseball team will be taking on the D'Youville Spartans in back-to-back doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be a start time of 6:30 p.m. at Fordham University and Sunday will be an early start at 11 a.m. at Baseball Heaven out in Yaphank, N.Y.

Inside The Series with D'Youville
        Last year, the Privateers matched up with the Spartans on March 3-4, playing three games at Reinhart Field. The first game resulted in a 4-3 win over the Spartans in 10 innings for the Privateers. The next game was the first of a doubleheader, and Maritime came out on top with a 15-0 win. In the second game, the Privateers cruised to 5-0 victory to begin the 2012 season with a 3-0 record.
