On the mound, junior

Max Lockwood (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) (Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) contributed one scoreless inning and struck out two.
The Cyclones scored twice in the opening inning, both runs coming on an error on a deep-hit fly ball to center field. They added two more runs on a bloop-double down the left field line by freshman Nick Koffel in the second inning. In the bottom of the fourth, Centenary scored twice more thanks in large part to three infield hits. The final run came off the bat of senior Victor Nunez, who's single to left-cent field ended the scoring on the night.
Cyclone junior Mike Crowe went 2-for-4 with four runs and two stolen bases. Koffel and Nunez had two RBIs apiece, as did sophomore Ryan Caparoni. Freshman Jimmy Kraivec earned the victory after pitching five scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out eight. Senior Dylan Kemmerer earned the save after four scoreless innings of relief and four strikeouts.
The Privateers are right back at it on Saturday, when they will take on Neumann University at noon back on Griffith Field at the Ripken Experience.
