        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 24, 2013) – The Maritime men's soccer team will play host to local Skyline Conference opponent Mount St. Vincent on Thursday night in a pivotal late-season league game. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Reinhart Field.

Inside The Series With Mount St. Vincent
        In eight meetings over the past nine seasons, Maritime holds a 7-1 series advantage. Last season, the teams met on Oct. 2 at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers and the Privateers came away with a 4-1 victory. Three freshmen tallied goals for the Privateers – Nick Mast (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip), Patrick McCarty (East Rockaway, N.Y./East Rockaway) (East Rockaway, N.Y./East Rockaway) and Jon Dubowyk (Pennfield, N.Y./Pennfield) (Pennfield, N.Y./Pennfield) – while then-junior David Sparozic (Carmel, N.Y./Mahopac) was the only non-rookie to find the back of the net.
