THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 18, 2013) – Earlier this month, Maritime cross country first-year head coach Megan Patterson announced that Andrew Coelho joined the program's coaching staff as the men's and women's cross country assistant coach.
 
        Coelho joins Maritime after an accomplished running career at Division II Adelphi University. He was the team captain of the Panthers' cross country program, a two-time All-American, a five-time Team MVP, a Northeast-10 Conference Champion, an All-Conference honoree and a USTFCCCA All-Region Honoree.
 
        He currently works as a sales associate at Runner's Edge in Farmingdale, N.Y., helping customers make knowledgeable purchases for the running apparel. Coelho is a native of Wantagh, N.Y., and graduated Adelphi in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in physical education.
