In the fourth, Maritime made its lead 3-0 when freshman Matthew Sollin (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) plated classmate Thomas Bauer (Wantagh, N.Y./MacArthur).

Myers only run against came on a solo home run by sophomore Jason Rivera in the bottom of the sixth. Myers struck out nine to earn his team-leading fourth win of the season. Mount senior Matt Calandrillo suffered the loss, allowing three runs on six hits over four innings.
