THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 14, 2012) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team will be on the road once for the final time this season when the squad travels up to Newburgh, N.Y., to take on Skyline opponent Mount St. Mary. Game time is scheduled for noon at the Blue Knights' Synthetic Turf Field.

        The two teams have met only twice before, with the Blue Knights coming out on top in both games. Last season, Mount spoiled the Privateers' Senior Day with a narrow 8-7 victory at Reinhart Field on the final day of the season. Senior Jill Davenport (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) and then-junior Kristen Saporito (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) each recorded a hat trick to lead Maritime.
