FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (March 28, 2012) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team lost at Farmingdale St., 21-4, Wednesday afternoon at the Rams' Lacrosse Complex. The Privateers drop to 1-4 (0-3 Skyline) on the season, while FSC improves to 6-1 (2-0 Skyline) with the victory.

Catherine Brady (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) each picked up a team-high two groundballs apiece.

Laura Palino (North Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) (North Babylon, N.Y./Babylon) made 10 saves in the losing effort.
The Rams were led by midfielder Christy Thoden, who had a game-high 11 points with six goals and five assists. Nicole Marzocca chipped in with three goals and four assists. Thoden also led all players with nine draw controls, while Marzocca had a game-high four groundballs. Goalie Courtney Cook had two saves to record the win.
The Privateers return to action on Saturday, when they continue their round swing at conference-opponent Kean University. Game time against the Cougars is set for 1 p.m. at Kean Alumni Stadium.
