        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 28, 2012) – The Maritime women's lacrosse will be on the road again Wednesday, when the squad travels to Nassau County, Long Island, to take on Skyline-foe Farmingdale St. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Lacrosse Complex.

Inside The Series With Farmingdale St.
        The Privateers have yet to beat Farmingdale St. since the women's lacrosse program started here at Maritime in the 2006 season. Last season, the Rams were victorious by the score of 17-3 at Reinhart Field. Then-juniors Catherine Brady (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) and Kristen Saporito (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point), as well as then-sophomore Kristen Wilson (Baldwin, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) (Baldwin, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) each found the back of the net for the Privateers.  Then-sophomore Victoria DeLouise (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side ) (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers to lead the squad defensively.
