Friday's game will be the first between the Privateers and the Blue Jays in Maritime's relatively short program history. Last season, the two schools shared one common opponent, Mount St. Mary. St. Joseph lost to the Lady Blue Knights, 17-4, at home on March 28, while the Privateers lost by the score of 8-7 on the last day of the season, April 16, at Reinhart Field.
