        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 10, 2012) – The Maritime women's lacrosse team will open up the 2012 season under new head coach Ann Denning at home Saturday afternoon against the Hartwick Hawks. First draw is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Reinhart Field.

Inside The Series With Hartwick
        Saturday's meeting will be just the second all-time between the two schools, as both programs are relatively young. The only other time the Privateers squared off against the Hawks was last season, when they travels up to Oneonta and lost 19-2. Then-junior Catherine Brady (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) scored the first goal of the game and senior Jill Davenport (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) tallied the other goal in the losing effort.
