(Feb. 4, 2012) - The Maritime basketball teams saw two players score in double-figures Saturday night in Manhattan, but it wasn't enough, as the Privateers fell to host Yeshiva, 67-62, at the Mac's Stein Athletic Center. The Privateers fall to 2-19 (2-12 Skyline) with the loss, while the Maccabees improve to 4-15 (4-9 Skyline).

Mike McSloy (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) led all players with 21 points, while grad student
Sam Porte (Harlem, N.Y./H.S. for Math, Science & Engineering) (Harlem, N.Y./Math, Sci. & Engineering) recorded a double-double with 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
Yeshiva had three players in double-figures, as Shlomo Weissberg led the bunch with 19 points. Gil Bash added 16 points and Dovie Hoffman chipped in with 13.
The Privateers return to action on Tuesday, when they play host to conference-leader St. Joseph's. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium.
