T-Vaughn Gibson (Freeport, Bahamas/Sun Land Academy) had 15 points to lead Maritime (2-9), while Mike McSloy (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) chipped in with an 11-point effort.  Sam Porte (Harlem, N.Y./H.S. for Math, Science & Engineering) (Harlem, N.Y./H.S. for Math, Science & Engineering) and Hugh Byrd (Pequannock, N.J./DePaul Catholic) (Newfoundland, N.J./DePaul Catholic) added 10 points apiece for Maritime, which used 11 steals to help force a season-high 20 turnovers.

Sebastian Pessoa had a game-high 23 points, while Mathias Raggiotto added a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to help lead Lehman (6-6).

Byrd scored quick six points as part of an 11-6 Privateer run that opened the second half and helped close a 10-point halftime deficit to five, 42-37, with 16:03 to play.  A Kelvin Gil 3-pointer, however, later put Lehman back up by 10, 51-41, and the Lightning eventually opened up a 16-point lead with 3:28 to go.  Treys from Jack Cole (Bethany Beach, Del./Indian River) (Bethany Beach, Del./Indian River), Gibson and Mario Clarke (Brooklyn, N.Y./Boys and Girls) (Brooklyn, N.Y./Boys and Girls) brought the Privateers to within seven, 69-62, but Maritime would get no closer.

Three quick field goals staked the Privateers to an early 7-0 lead at the 17:02 mark, but Lehman quickly responded with a 15-7 run to take a 15-14 lead with 9:35 remaining.  A Louie Lewis (Bronx, N.Y./Eagle Academy) (Bronx, N.Y./Eagle Academy) layup put Maritime back on top before a trey from McSloy and a Porte jumper put the Privateers up 26-22 with just 4:12 left in the first stanza.  Lehman, however, closed the half on a 14-0 run to take a 36-26 lead into halftime.

The Privateers return to action on Jan. 5, traveling to Patchogue, N.Y., to take on St. Joseph's in a 7 p.m. contest.
