THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 6, 2011) – The Maritime baseball team will return to the field today, when they host non-conference rival John Jay. The game was moved to Reinhart Field in order to accommodate the Privateers' freshman team members' class registration period. The game is set to start at 3 p.m. with the Bloodhounds playing as the home team.

Inside The Series

This will be the fourth meeting between these two teams. John Jay holds a slight edge in the overall series, as they have come out on top in two of the previous three contests. On March 9, 2010, the Privateers used their home advantage and kept the win, 11-10, when they hosted the Bloodhounds in Throggs Neck.
