Game Day: Privateers Look To Keep Playoff Hopes Alive At St. Joseph’s Tonight

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Feb. 5, 2011) – The Maritime men's basketball team hits the court again tonight when the squad travels to Patchogue, N.Y. to play the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's University at the Danzi Athletic Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Inside The Series

             In the first meeting these two teams had this season on Jan. 10, St. Joseph's took home the victory, 99-65, when they played at the Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium. During the 2009-10 season, the Golden Eagles swept the series, winning on Jan. 19 at the Danzi Center, 77-67, and at Riesenberg on Feb. 18 by the score of 89-77. The Privateers look for their first victory against St. Joseph's since beating them on Feb. 21, 2004, 65-62 in Patchogue, N.Y.
