THROGGS NECK, NY – Freshman outside hitter Addison Weist (Staten Island, NY) of the Maritime College volleyball team has been selected Second Team All-Skyline Conference by the league's head coaches.  She becomes the first Privateer to earn All-Skyline honors since Meredith Hayes was named to the Second Team in 2018.

Weist was one of two Maritime players to appear in all 77 sets this season.  She ranked second on the team (and in the conference) with 0.69 service aces per set, and her 53 total aces were tied for third-most in the league.  Weist also led the Privateers with 204 kills and finished eighth in the Skyline with 3.39 points per set.

She took home a pair of Skyline Rookie of the Week awards on Sept. 2 and Sept. 29 and posted three double-doubles on the season.  Weist reached double-figures in kills seven times, including a career-high 19 against St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Oct. 23.  She served a career-best seven aces while notching her first collegiate double-double (16 kills, 15 digs) in a five-set loss at Brooklyn on Sept. 2.  In a 3-0 sweep of Old Westbury on Oct. 25, Weist hit .700, smashing seven kills without an error in 10 attempts.

The Privateers finished 10-13 overall and 3-8 against Skyline opponents in 2025.  This marked Maritime's first 10-win campaign since 2017.
