THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – For the fourth year in a row the Maritime men's lacrosse team has partnered with Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport, Connecticut for their annual drive as part of the team's community service project.
After collecting coffee and clothing over the last three years, the Privateers will now be collecting shaving products including razors and shaving cream for the home and will be bringing the items to Bridgeport on Saturday, November 11 to coincide with Veteran's Day.
"This is now our fourth year collecting for Homes for the Brave, and each year we always try to collect more than the previous year," said Maritime lacrosse coach
Daniel Lawrence. "It's always rewarding to give to such a worth organization, and to help those that have done so much for our country."
