THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – Last week Bordentown Current, part of the CommunityNews.org network, ran a feature on Maritime junior Christopher Chilelli (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) of the Privateers men's swimming and men's rowing teams.
 
The article features Chilelli's process on choosing Maritime, his experiences in over two years at the college, and his plans upon graduation, all while participating as a two-sport college athlete. Also in the article are Maritime's 17-year head swimming coach Peter Vecchio, as well as Assistant Coach Luke Zappulla of the Maritime rowing teams.

Both the Maritime swimming and rowing teams have reached winter break, and will be off until the calendar turns to 2018. The swimming teams pick up in late January with the Skyline Conference Championships, while the rowing season is expected to resume in late March or early June.
