Series History: The Privateers and Spartans have met seven times, and the series has been close as Maritime has won four of the seven matchups since beginning their series in 2009. Last season, the Privateers fell at home to the Spartans in a high-scoring affair by a 49-34 score.

Maritime Last Game Recap: Maritime had its highest offensive output of the season a week ago with 40 points as the team defeated Becker by a 40-13 score. However, it was the defense and special teams to spark the offense with a blocked punt and an interception that were both returned for touchdowns in the opening two minutes of the game.

Castleton Last Game Recap: The Spartans enter this week's contest looking to get back on track after a 43-21 loss to Husson at home. Time of possession was key in the contest, as Husson had the ball for twice as long as Castleton at a 42:28 to 17:32 difference.
