Â
After the matches, the four teams got together for dinner together at the "TIV" at McMurray Hall on campus. It was a good chance for the girls from all four schools that are so closely related in terms of future industry leaders to get to mingle and know one another while they're still in school, before they potentially meet again in their future fields of work. Third-year Director of Athletics
Heather MacCulloch, who organized the event, was on hand and spoke briefly to the teams and coaches.
Â
The Maritime Classic resumes tomorrow with three more matches at Riesnberg. The first contest of the day will see two "Mariner" schools face off as Kings Point will take on Maine Maritime at 10 a.m. The second match will see the Mass. Maritime Bucs face off against KP at noon.
Â
In the finale at 2 p.m., Maritime will face off against its rivals from across the Sound, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point Mariners. Live stats for all three matches will be available at
