THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 14, 2014) – Early last week, the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) released its post season awards for the 2013-14 season and Maritime junior goalie Harris Burger (Davie, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) was named to the All-Atlantic Region Second Team. This is the second straight season that Burger earned this exact same honor.
 
        Burger compiled a 10-5-2 record for the Privateers this year, posting a 2.27 goals against average along with a .920 save percentage. He helped lead Maritime to the Empire Collegiate Hockey Conference (ECHC) playoffs in the team's first year in the league.

        The Privateers finished 2013-14 with a 13-6-2 overall record, including a 3-4-1 mark in ECHC play, which was good enough to earn the #3 seed in the Emperor's Cup playoffs. The season ended with a tough 3-1 loss to Fairfield in the semifinals back on March 1.
