(Feb. 4, 2013) – The Maritime hockey team won all three of its games last week over Met Hockey Conference opponents Saint Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday, Fordham on Friday and Columbia on Saturday. The Privateers improve to 22-2 on the season and remain perfect in MCHC action with a 14-0 record.
On Wednesday against STAC at the Palisades Mall Ice Rink, the Privateers actually fell behind by a goal early, but scored five times in the first period en route to a 15-1 victory. Senior captain

In the last game of the week at home at Parkwood against Columbia on Saturday night, the Privateers led 5-0 after one period of play and went on to win by the score of 13-1. Paseka and freshman

Up next, the Privateers will play two games this weekend before the post season begins. They will host arch-rival and Met Hockey foe Kings Point on Saturday night, Feb. 9, at 9:15 p.m. at the Parkwood Sports Complex. Before the game, the team will honor its three seniors with a special Senior Night Ceremony. On Sunday, the team will travel to Dix Hills, Long Island, N.Y. to take on Suffolk County Comm. College at 1:30 p.m. at the Dix Hill Park Skating Rink.
